Qatar students not required to wear face masks from April 3

Unvaccinated students who never got infected with COVID-19 are still required to take weekly rapid antigen test 

Dubai, March 30, 2022: School and nursery students in Qatar are not required to wear face masks anymore. The decision, which will come into effect from April 3, was announced by The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health. 

However, unvaccinated students who never got infected with COVID-19 are still required to take a weekly rapid antigen test at home.  

Meanwhile, students are urged to adhere to all health and safety measures.
