KHDA announces reduced school timings for the Ramadan month

The authority has also urged schools to reduce the amount of homework and assignments

Dubai, March 25, 2022: The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has announced that classes in private schools will not go for longer than five hours during Ramadan. 

Mohammed Darwish, CEO of Permits and Compliance at KHDA says, “These timings have been developed in close consultation with families and schools.”

The authority has also urged schools to reduce the amount of homework and assignments.
