In-person classes restricted to vaccinated students in UAE colleges

Students who are not eligible to take the vaccine on medical grounds must take a PCR test every week.

UAE, Aug 26, 2021: In-person classes at colleges, higher education institutes and universities will be restricted to students who have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

According to the recent announcement by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), students who are not eligible to take the vaccine on medical grounds need to take a PCR test every week. They will have an option for remote learning.

Since it’s a federal protocol, it could differ from emirate to emirate based on the discretion of the emirate’s education regulator.
