SPEA issues guidelines for private schools

Private schools in Sharjah must close if two or more students test COVID-19 positive

Sharjah, Aug 25, 2021: Private schools need to immediately close in-person classes and shift to remote learning if two or more students or education staff test COVID-19 positive.

According to the guidelines issued by Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), staff and parents must inform the school authorities in case there are any positive cases. Students are advised to follow the quarantine rules and parents are instructed to inform the school if students fall under high-risk categories.

The guidelines have been issued to prevent the spread of the virus in private schools in Sharjah.
