Applications open for the 18th edition of the annual Khalifa Award for Education 

Khalifa Award for Education and Khalifa International Award for Early Learning

Applicants from both UAE and the Arab world and international levels can apply online for ten categories before Dec 31 2024.  

Abu Dhabi, July 1, 2024: Applications are open for the 18th edition of the annual Khalifa Award for Education and Khalifa International Award for Early Learning Field, which aims to recognise and honour exemplary work in education.  

Both individuals and organisations from the UAE, the Arab world and international levels can apply online for ten categories. The applications are open until Dec 31, 2024. The winners will be announced at an event in April 2025. 

The Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education, Amal Al-Afeefi says there is widespread interest in participating in the Award which provides an excellent platform for recognising innovation and creativity. “Today, we look forward to launching a new session in this course, supported by a series of events, induction programs, and applied workshops,” she says adding that the goal is to support the advancement and future of the education. 

Among the popular categories are Distinguished Educational Personality, General Education, Education, and Community Services, People of Determination, Innovation in Teaching Arabic Language, Higher Education, Educational Research, Educational Authorship for Children, Innovative Educational Projects and Programs,  

Applications have also been invited for the third edition of the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning Field, which includes two categories – Best Research and Studies and Best Programs, Curricula, Teaching methodologies, and Practises. According to Al-Afeefi the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning aims to promote early childhood advancement, highlight the most prominent scientific and practical practices, and provide an environment that fosters growth, creativity, and excellence.
