Expected to serve more than 2,000 students each, the campuses are scheduled to open in 2028 and 2030

Dubai, June 29, 2026: UK-based school group Epsom College is opening two new schools in the UAE. While the Abu Dhabi campus is scheduled to open in September 2028, the Dubai branch is expected to start two years later in September 2030. Both will be fully co-educational day schools, developed and operated in partnership with the UAE-based NEMA Education.

Mark Lascelles, Head of Epsom College says, “Since 1855 we have offered young people an outstanding British education rooted in academic excellence, exceptional pastoral care and a breadth of opportunity beyond the classroom. To bring that same education to families in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and beyond is a wonderful opportunity.”

NEMA Education owns and operates a portfolio of institutions that includes Abu Dhabi University and Liwa University, together educating more than 14,000 students.

Dr Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Aldhaheri, Chairman and CEO of NEMA Education says, “This partnership with Epsom College… is a cornerstone of our strategic vision to build a comprehensive, world-class educational ecosystem in the UAE. By bringing Epsom’s 170-year legacy of excellence to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we are creating a seamless pathway of lifelong learning that spans from K-12 to higher education and beyond.”

The two new schools mark the first phase of a partnership under which the College and NEMA Education plan to open further schools across the Middle East in subsequent years.

“In NEMA Education we have found a partner whose deep understanding of education and proven record in developing and running outstanding institutions make them ideal as we grow the Epsom family across the region,” adds Lascelles.
