The Royal Grammar School Guildford to open new school in Muscat

The school is set to open in September 2023

Oman, March 15, 2023: The Royal Grammar School (RGS Guildford) has partnered with Sama Educational Company (Sama), a leading education company in the Gulf, to launch an independent British curriculum school in Oman.

The school, which is set to open its doors in Muscat in September 2023, will provide British education.

Dr. Jon Cox, Headmaster, RGS Guildford, UK said: “We look forward to our collaboration with the Ministry of Education in Oman and our partners, Sama Educational Company, in offering an exceptional education for the young people in Muscat.”

Located in Al Khoud, Al Seeb, the school will provide children in Muscat with access to a bespoke curriculum that has been developed by RGS Guildford and Sama for the unique context of Oman, which meets the demands of a global third-millennium British school. The curriculum will cater to the educational needs of local and international communities.

RGSG Muscat will be led by Founding Head of School Justin Durling, who has more than 20 years of international education experience.

The school is now enrolling students for September 2023 and is currently accepting applications from Foundation 1 (Nursery) to Grade 5.
