Bahrain government schools may soon offer IB programme

Studies were underway to integrate the programme into the country’s public school system 

Manama, Jan 14, 2025: Public school students in Bahrain may soon benefit from a new educational option, as plans to introduce the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme are being explored. Education Minister and Bahrain University Board of Trustees Chairman Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma said that studies were underway to integrate the programme into the country’s public school system. 

It will be mostly tailored towards students with a strong grasp of the English language and who will be looking to go for higher education abroad.
