Teacher shortage in Kuwait’s government schools to be filled by expat educators

700 vacancies for 12 subjects to be filled 

Kuwait, Jan 23, 2023:  The Ministry of Education is seeking to fill 700 teaching positions, both for male and female teachers, for the 2023-2024 academic year in public schools. Applications are being accepted for local hires (non-Kuwaitis) across 12 disciplines through the official website of the Ministry of Education, starting Sunday. 

Holders of a doctoral degree with grades no less than very good in the university qualification; holders of a Master’s degree with no less than excellent in the university qualification; graduates of the Faculty of Education from Kuwait University and the Faculty of Basic Education in the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training and all other government colleges in Kuwait are the exempted categories from the experience requirement by the ministry. 

Acceptance is based on passing a personal interview, regardless of case type or specialisation.
