Emirates Schools Establishment announces assessment policy for UAE public schools

The policy applies to  to all cycles, including early childhood and kindergarten

Dubai, Oct 04, 2021: The Emirates School Establishment (ESE) has announced the assessment and examination policy for the academic year 2021 -2022 for the UAE public schools. 

The assessment and examination policy applies to all cycles, including early childhood and kindergarten. 

The policy is available on ESE’s website that includes implementation of evaluation policies, school calendars for the 2021-2022 school year, school days and quarterly vacation allocations as per the UAE Cabinet, and Guide to lesson plans in public schools for the academic year 2021-2022.

According to the criteria mentioned in the assessment policy, the ESE will review students in grade 4 to 12 at the end of the school year, especially in July.

Officials said that students will sit on all online regular exams from schools in line with the protocol for running educational institutions issued by relevant authorities in the country, and in line with the precautionary measures applied in public schools.
