Remote learning ends in Saudi

The decision will be applicable to students at all levels

Dubai, March 17, 2022: The Ministry of Education in Saudi has announced that schools will return to full in-person classes from March 20. All departments across Saudi will have to start applying updated school guidelines along with cancellation of social distancing in classrooms, sports, playground activities and extracurricular activities. Morning assemblies will also be resumed.

The decision will be applicable to students at all levels.

Teachers are asked to continue making use of the Madrasati (the remote-learning platform) to prepare lessons, tests and assignments.

Meanwhile, the ministry had earlier confirmed that the four-tier mechanism by which students’ attendance is scheduled and divided into groups (A,B,C & D) will also be cancelled.
