75% students return to schools in Dubai

Full in-person learning for Dubai schools from Oct 3

Dubai, Sept 29, 2021: 75 per cent of students in Dubai have already returned to school since the start of the academic year, up from 50 percent in September 2020.  The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) said it has conducted 711 visits to schools since the new academic year to review their compliance with health and safety measures.

“The overwhelming majority of schools were found to be in compliance with all precautionary guidelines,” says the KHDA.

From October 3, distance learning will only be allowed to those who have a valid medical certificate from Dubai Health Authority, and those who are unable to return to Dubai due to COVID-19 restrictions.
