The plan will be in accordance with best international practices, the directions of national plans and the needs of the industry 

Dubai, Feb 27, 2023: The Ministry of Education of Oman has announced that a systematic plan will be implemented in vocational and technical education starting next academic year 2023-2024. The plan will be in accordance with best international practices, the directions of national plans and the needs of the economic sectors. The implementation will be a gradual process in accordance with the directives of the Council of Ministers. 

Initially the application will be limited to students from areas close to the experimental schools. 

Meanwhile, the Ministry is working to prepare students on several aspects by developing the study plan for grades 1-10, and by revising concepts related to the professional and technical field in the school curricula.
