Sharaka Education WLL secures exclusive rights to franchise Sherborne in MENA

The educational flagship of Sharaka Holdings signs an agreement with Sherborne Schools Worldwide Limited 

Doha, Jan 15, 2023: Sharaka Education WLL, the educational flagship of Sharaka Holdings, has secured exclusive rights to franchise the Sherborne brand in the MENA region. Sharaka Holdings is a Qatari conglomerate operating 37 companies across five industry sectors.   

Speaking on the partnership, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Ahmed Al Thani, Chairman of Sharaka Holdings said, “Under the guidance of Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, we at Sharaka Holdings are committed to making significant contributions to the realisation of the Qatar National Vision 2030.” 

Sherborne Qatar was founded in 2009 and has now grown into a family of four schools in the country.  The strong foundation and success of Sherborne Qatar led to the formation of Sharaka Education in 2017. The company now aims to develop Sherborne schools across the MENA region over the next decade, and the founding Headmaster of Sherborne Qatar, Nick Prowse, will lead the expansion. 

Sherborne Schools Worldwide is owned by the British schools, Sherborne School and Sherborne Girls.
