David Baldwin has been with the group since 2018, serving in senior leadership roles across the UK
Dubai, Feb 11, 2026: School operator Cognita has announced David Baldwin as the Group CEO with immediate effect.
Since joining Cognita in 2018, Baldwin has held senior education leadership roles in the UK and partnered closely with schools across the group. In his most recent role as the first CEO of Cognita Middle East, he led the business through a period of rapid growth, building a regional presence that now spans 14 schools over five countries, educating more than 23,000 students. In his new role as Group CEO, Baldwin will now lead the wider organisation.

Andreas Tolpeit was the Group CEO (interim) over the past few months. Tolpeit will now resume his role as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Stuart Millman currently CFO, Middle East will move into the position of CEO, Middle East (interim).
