KHDA announces new Director General

Aisha Abdulla Miran has been appointed as the new Director General 

Dubai, Jan 19, 2024: The KHDA has announced Aisha Abdulla Miran as its new Director General. She will replace Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, who has been in the role since the inception of the body in 2006. 

The appointment was announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Monhammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council.  

Miran plays a crucial role in public sector development. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the public sector, commencing her professional career with The Executive Office, a private office of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 2002. She has also worked on multiple projects, including establishing the Dubai Institute for Human Resource Development and the Dubai Government performance management system.
