Nicola Upham has been appointed as Vice Principal of Student Development, Damien Marshall as Vice Principal of the Primo Centre & Junior School and Nishi Saran as Senior Vice Principal of Secondary School and Nexus Pre-University Centre

Dubai, June 09, 2022: Bloom World Academy, the new IB curriculum school with flexible timings, has announced the appointment of its senior leadership team ahead of its August launch in Dubai. 

Nicola Upham has been appointed as Vice Principal of Student Development, while Damien Marshall will take on the role of Vice Principal of the Primo Centre and Junior School, and Nishi Saran, will lead the Secondary School and Nexus Pre-University Centre as Senior Vice Principal. 

Upham has more than 18 years of teaching experience and ten years’ experience as a Senior Leader in both UK and Dubai-based schools. In her role at Bloom World Academy, Upham’s focus would be on student wellbeing. 

In an earlier statement, Bloom World Academy had announced that families will be able to design their own bespoke school timings around the official school day of 9am to 4pm.

Marshall will play an integral part in developing the school’s family-first approach.

Bloom World Academy will open the doors for Pre-KG to Grade 9 students at its state-of-the-art campus in Al Barsha in August 2022
