Workshop explores key advancements in quality assurance

The workshop on ‘Professional Development for Quality Assurance Leaders in Higher Education’ hosted by Ajman University brought together 80 higher education leaders and a group of experts to discuss advancements in quality assurance practices

Organised by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and hosted by Ajman University, the workshop discussed strategic approaches to quality assurance, including updates to the national framework, sustainability and risk-based assessment 

Dubai, Nov 7, 2024: A recent workshop on ‘Professional Development for Quality Assurance Leaders in Higher Education’ hosted by Ajman University brought together 80 higher education leaders and a group of experts to discuss advancements in quality assurance practices. Organised by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), the workshop was held at the Sheikh Zayed Centre for Conferences and Exhibitions. 

The workshop featured a series of in-depth sessions focused on essential areas in quality assurance, including the latest updates to the QFEmirates framework, strategic planning, sustainability and risk-based assessment.  

The programme aimed to enhance the skills of quality assurance leaders, equipping them to implement internationally recognised standards and practices within their institutions, and promote alignment with accreditation standards to achieve quality benchmarks swiftly.
