The programme aims to cater to the soaring demands of Dubai’s creative economy 

Dubai, Dec 14, 2023: The University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Dubai has launched a Master’s programme in Visual & Experience Design. The programme aims to cater to the increasing demand for creative professionals in the wake of Dubai surpassing global creative hubs such as London and Paris. 

Welcoming its first cohort in January 2024, the programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience to ensure an interdisciplinary approach that prepares students for the evolving demands of the professional world. 

Aligned with the UAE government’s focus on creative industries, the university has launched the programme to contribute to the goals outlined in the Dubai Creative Economy Strategy. The strategy aims to double the creative industries’ contribution to the UAE’s GDP from 2.6% in 2020 to 5% by 2025.
