The field visits are aimed at monitoring buildings, educational facilities, cleanliness, ventilation, maintenance, educational services readiness and school clinics

Sharjah, Aug 20, 2023: The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) has scheduled 390 visits to schools and early childhood centres as part of its preparations for the upcoming 2023–24 academic year, which begins on August 28.

The Authority’s Supervision and Compliance Management has stated that as part of these field visits SPEA will monitor buildings, educational facilities, cleanliness, ventilation, maintenance, educational services readiness, school clinics, nutrition, cafeterias, bus movement, entry and exit gates, waiting areas and main building entrances. Overall staffing, including instructors and administrators, will be examined.

The Authority’s Supervision and Compliance Management has planned to produce a Governance Guide for Supervisory Operations at the start of the academic year.

This book will outline all areas of organisation, preparedness and beneficial collaboration with educational institutions and regulatory management to support educational institutions.

The authority has increased direct coordination with strategic partners to arrange for a safe and peaceful student return and smooth traffic in the first days of school.

The Authority’s Curriculum and Testing Management has also urged schools to fulfill book and resource provision processes. It stressed the authority’s responsibility to communicate with all stakeholders and its willingness to help schools overcome any obstacles.
