Qatar Education Ministry urges school workers to achieve educational objectives

The call was made at the meeting for managers of public schools 

Doha, Jan 08, 2023: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) in Qatar has urged all school workers to make concerted efforts towards the promised objectives of educational programmes, along with raising the standard of education. The call was made at the second periodic meeting for the managers of public schools for the academic year 2022-2023. 

Organised by the Educational Affairs sector in co-operation with the Training and Development Centre and Schools Evaluation Department, the meeting was attended by 230 managers, along with academic representatives.

Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Maha Zayed al-Ruwaili said that the educational affairs sector is ready to support managers of schools in their work. She  stressed on the importance of guiding the students towards choosing the academic tracks that are appropriate and relevant for the labour market.

Al-Ruwaili also talked about the importance of providing the constant vocational development for the teachers through individual efforts offered by the school internally, or through sharing the expertise with other schools.

The Education Ministry will soon issue circulars pertaining to the timeline and details of registering the students in the public schools for the upcoming academic year 2023-2024, in addition to a series of beneficial educational programmes.
