Dubai, Feb 09, 2022: Oman Ministry of Education has announced new updates on the learning models for public and private schools. The announcement has been made for the second semester of the academic year 2021 – 2022.

The ministry has approved blended learning on a weekly basis for students of grade 1 to 4. However, low-density schools which are managed by the direct education system and do not have more than 20 students per class, will have to return to 100% in-person classes while adhering to the precautionary measures,

Similarly, grades 5 to 11 will have face-to-face learning while adhering to precautionary health measures. Schools with more than 30 students per classroom per semester, which are run by the blended education system (week after week), are exempted from the decision.

Grade 12 students will return to in-person classes with 100% capacity without any exceptions.
