The school is scheduled to open in September 2026
Dubai, Feb 10, 2026: Artemis Education has announced the launch of Jebel View International School in Muscat. The school is set to open in September 2026.
Initially Jebel View International will open with the Primary School from KG1 to Grade 6. The Secondary school will open its doors in 2027, beginning with Grade 7 and expanding by one grade level each academic year until full capacity is reached in Grade 12.
Jebel View International School’s academic offering will be rooted in the Cambridge International curriculum from Early Years through to Grade 8, with students progressing to Cambridge IGCSEs and A-Levels in Grades 9 to 12. In parallel, the Omani Bilingual Diploma (GED), in line with Ministry of Education requirements, will be provided, ensuring students benefit from a dual pathway which upholds national academic standards while providing access to internationally recognised qualifications.
Jebel View is said to be “a school of the future rooted in national pride and committed to nurturing students who carry forward the values and identity of the Sultanate”.
The purpose-built campus, located in The Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM), is positioned between Muscat and Seeb on the main expressway. The facilities are built around a modern, sustainable design and include STEAM labs, arts studios and dedicated sports spaces.
Jebel View International School is a member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the school will work towards British Schools Overseas (BSO) status upon opening.
Sheldon Smith, Founding Principal says, “Launching Jebel View International School gives us the opportunity to reimagine what education in Muscat can look like for the next generation. We are creating a learning culture where academic ambition is matched by creativity, resilience and respect for others. For families, this means joining a school community from the very beginning, shaping its character and ensuring that every student benefits from a pioneering, holistic and future-focused education rooted in Omani traditions.”
Niall Brennan, CEO of Artemis Education says, “Oman is an important part of our regional strategy, and Muscat is the right place to establish a school that embodies Artemis Education’s values. Jebel View reflects how we design schools to be both globally recognised and locally relevant. It will stand as a benchmark for how British educational excellence can be integrated with community partnerships, sustainability and cultural authenticity.”
