Announces executive appointments and establishment of office in Riyadh
Riyadh, Mar 9, 2025: Amanat Education has introduced its new brand, Almasar Alshamil Education (Almasar Education), alongside the opening of its Riyadh office. The new office will be led by a senior management team recently appointed to drive the company’s growth in the region.
The team includes Majed Al-Mutairi as Chief Executive Officer supported by Ahmad Gamal as Chief Financial Officer and Fadi Habib as Managing Director.
Al-Mutairi has more than 30 years of executive experience, having previously worked as the CEO of Caretech-UK MENA Social Care between 2021 and 2024 and as the CEO of GEMS Education KSA between 2017 and 2021. Gamal brings more than 30 years of expertise in financial management, corporate strategy and investment banking and has held senior leadership roles at major global companies, including Cadbury, PepsiCo and Lundbeck. His experience also includes CFO positions at Egypt Foods Group, Cleopatra Hospitals Group and most recently as Group CFO at Magrabi Hospitals.

Almasar Education has demonstrated strong operational and financial performance, with student and beneficiary enrollments nearly doubling from 2020 to 2024, reaching approximately 23,000. The company achieved a revenue CAGR of 57% between 2021 and 2023, alongside an EBITDA CAGR of 44% during the same period, significantly surpassing overall sector growth. For the nine-month period ending September 30, 2024, Almasar Education recorded a 27% year-on-year revenue growth, reaching SAR 271.6 million, with an EBITDA of SAR 121.3 million and a margin of 45%.
The company has a clear growth strategy, aiming to expand its SEN network and services through Human Development Company while increasing enrollments in higher education through Middlesex University Dubai and NEMA Holding.
