Muscat, Jan 23, 2025: The Arabian Research Bureau (ARB) has announced that the 24th edition of the Global Higher Education Exhibition (GHEDEX 2025) will take place from April 7-9, 2025, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat. Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, GHEDEX 2025, along with its diverse sub-events, serves as a platform for educational institutions, professionals and students to explore cutting-edge academic programmes and career development opportunities.
Bringing together students, parents, educators, officials and academic representatives, the exhibition facilitates direct engagement with local and international universities, colleges and institutions. Aligned with Oman Vision 2040, which prioritises educational transformation and global collaboration, GHEDEX 2025 underscores Oman’s commitment to elevating its educational standards.
GHEDEX features include the Career & Human Capital Development Expo, Technical Education & Vocational Training Exhibition (TrainEx), Private, International & Boarding Schools Exhibition (EduEx), Education Technology & Supplies Expo (EdTech), GHEDEX Talks, Workshops and Counselling Zone, Student Enterprises, Innovative Schools Summit, GHEDEX Awards for Excellence in Education, Media and Deals Hubs, VVIP Majlis, Universities & Corporates B2B Meet, and the International Conference on Career and Higher Education Counselling. The exhibition also provides students with the opportunity to attend valuable workshops and professional guidance sessions, enabling them to make informed decisions about their educational and career paths.
For the first time, the upcoming edition will feature the Silah Social Development Initiative, designed to engage and empower individuals with special needs. The initiative provides tailored facilities and resources, including sign language interpreters for the hearing impaired, Braille brochures for the visually impaired, and specialised activities for individuals with physical disabilities, autism and other conditions. Additionally, interactive workshops will be conducted to help participants enhance and develop their skills.
The exhibition will also offer a dynamic blend of entertainment and education through features such as games and e-sports zone, hackathons and the GHEDEX Talent, creating an engaging environment for all attendees.
GHEDEX, one of Oman’s longest-running educational exhibitions, has been held annually for the past 23 years.
