Sharjah event to help parents choose schools and nurseries

Expo Centre Sharjah to launch 3-day UAE Schools & Nursery Show from Feb 24  

Sharjah, Feb 03, 2023: Expo Centre Sharjah is set to launch a new show to help parents discover the right school, nursery and after-school programmes for their children. 

The inaugural UAE Schools & Nursery Show 2023 will bring all the biggest names in schools, pre-schools and other activity centres in the country under a single roof from February 24 to 26, 2023, and facilitate face-to-face interaction with parents to help them plan their child’s future. 

The UAE Schools & Nursery Show 2023 will be organised and hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry and in association with the Sharjah Private Education Authority, which is the strategic partner for the event. 

“The UAE has long recognised the role of education in building a knowledge-driven economy and has been working to transform K-12 programmes to ensure students are fully prepared to pursue higher studies and enter the workforce. The International Education Show, organised and hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah for the past two decades, has been a force multiplier in facilitating higher studies, and now we are launching another event to present life-changing education opportunities right from the preschool stage,” says Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah. 

To be organised under the umbrella of the International Education Show, the UAE Schools & Nursery Show 2023 envisions a futuristic education system in the country with state-of-the-art infrastructure, innovative curriculum, competitiveness and collaborative approach from all stakeholders, besides aligning higher education output with the requirements of the labour market. 

This is a unique platform where parents, guardians and teachers have an opportunity to speak directly with key representatives of all leading schools and special education centres in the country at one place. 

“UAE Schools & Nursery Show will feature after-school programmes, facilities for children with special needs, child development initiatives and extra-curricular activities, focusing on cognitive and behavioural learning,” says Mr. Sultan Shattaf, Sales and Marketing Director, Expo Centre Sharjah 

At the event, parents will be able to meet representatives of schools, preschools, after-school centres, special needs centres, language institutes, education service provides, day-care centres and financial institutions and explore latest trends in education, classroom infrastructure, latest in edutech, holistic learning experiences, unique curriculum plans and evaluate diverse financial plans and schemes for their children’s education. 

With the UAE ranking first across the Arab World in ‘Primary education enrolment and literacy index’, the show will be a must-visit for not just parents and guardians but also for policymakers and industry stakeholders. 

The UAE Schools & Nursery Show will be open daily from 3 pm to 9 pm. Entry and parking are free.
