Organised by IBEForuM, this year’s conference theme, ‘Empowering the Future: Building a Strong STEM Foundation’, set the stage for engaging discussions, insightful presentations and interactive workshops 

Riyadh, Oct 07, 2023: The Saudi STEM Education Conference 2023 brought together educators, policymakers, industry leaders and STEM enthusiasts from across the region to explore innovative strategies and solutions for advancing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education in Saudi Arabia. Organised by IBEForuM, the conference was held at the InterContinental Riyadh from September 19 – 20, 2023.  

This year’s conference theme, ‘Empowering the Future: Building a Strong STEM Foundation’, set the stage for engaging discussions, insightful presentations and interactive workshops aimed at addressing the challenges and opportunities in STEM education. Participants had the opportunity to delve into a wide range of topics, including curriculum development, teacher training, promoting diversity and inclusivity in STEM fields, and integration of cutting-edge technology in the classroom.  

Some of the highlights of the conference included keynote addresses by thought leaders in STEM education, interactive workshops with practical tools and strategies to improve STEM instruction, exhibitions showcasing the latest STEM-related products, technologies and educational resources, conferences facilitating networking opportunities to all stakeholders, and presentations and panel discussions exploring cutting-edge research and best practices in STEM education.  

The conference also saw discussions on the importance of diversity and inclusion in STEM fields.  

The conference also recognised outstanding achievements in STEM education through awards and commendations, celebrating those who have made significant contributions to the field.
