Qatar STEM Education Summit 2023 throws the spotlight on trends and challenges in STEM education

The summit brought together more than 500 participants from 15 plus countries 

Doha, March 24, 2023: The Qatar STEM Education Summit 2023, concluded on March 15, 2023 at the Qatar National Convention Centre, by drawing attention to some of the most pressing issues in STEM education, including digital transformation, AI, coding, robotics and virtual and augmented reality. 

The event, organised by IBEFORUM, brought together more than 500 participants from 15 plus countries, including government officials, educators, researchers, students and industry leaders, to discuss and deliberate on the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in STEM education. 

The summit featured keynote speeches from leading institutions such as the Ministry of Education, Qatar Foundation and Qatar University, among others. The panel discussions and workshops explored some key issues in STEM education such as digital transformation, AI, coding, robotics and virtual and augmented reality.
