Government nurseries in Sharjah to teach in Arabic language

Sheikh Sultan issues directive during board meeting of education academy 

Dubai, Nov 24, 2024: Arabic will be the official language for teaching in government-run nurseries across Sharjah, following directives from His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. 

The announcement was made on Sunday during a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Education Academy, chaired by Sheikh Sultan. The decision aims to preserve and promote the Arabic language as a fundamental component of education and cultural identity in the emirate.
