It is a part of ‘Our Students are Our Future’ campaign by Civil Defense, The Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the Ministry of Education

Abu Dhabi, Sept 1, 2021: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has called on school bus operators to install smoke detectors inside their buses to avoid any fire accidents. The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Command of Civil Defense, also stressed the need to educate students on how to use fire extinguishers. 

It is a part of the ‘Our Students are Our Future’ campaign by Civil Defense and The Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.

The campaign also stresses on the necessity of training bus supervisors on first aid procedures and ensuring that the floors and lanes of the bus are non-slip and covered with a non-combustible layer.

Bringing in awareness about the preventive requirements for fire hazards is the aim of the campaign while educating schools and universities, Department of Education and Knowledge employees, safety supervisors, teachers,  students and bus drivers.
