The continuation of remote learning applies to all nurseries, kindergartens and public & private schools nationwide

Dubai, Mar 30, 2026: The Ministry of Education has announced the continuation of distance learning until April 17, 2026, for students, as well as teaching and administrative staff, across all nurseries, kindergartens and public and private schools nationwide. 

Distance learning was initially scheduled to conclude on April 3, 2026, as schools awaited  guidance from authorities. 

While several major school groups, including GEMS Education and Taaleem, had applied for permission to resume face-to-face learning, some targeting as early as March 30, 2026, approvals have not yet been granted, underscoring the cautious approach being taken by regulators.
