Scheduled to be held on May 17, the free-to-attend bilingual event will bring together more than 800 educators from across the UAE
Dubai, May 7, 2025: The second Dubai Teaching Conference (DTC) 2025, hosted by Safa British School Dubai, will bring together more than 800 educators from across the UAE to discuss teaching strategies for tomorrow’s education.
The free-to-attend bilingual event, scheduled to be held on May 17, will host more than 85 workshops in English and Arabic and cover a range of topics such as pedagogy, leadership, well-being, inclusion and educational technology.
Each panel brings together educators, thought leaders and students to explore critical questions facing schools today, from equity and representation to emerging technologies and where educators share best practices with their peers in a practical, relevant, and accessible way.
This year’s event also aims to provide a platform for students to elevate their voice. Students from schools across Dubai will be delivering keynote speeches in both Arabic and English, sharing their aspirations, challenges and visions for the future of learning. Students will also lead workshops for teachers, offering their perspective on how they want to learn and participate in a student panel, engaging in an open discussion about the opportunities and challenges they face in today’s classrooms.

The event also aims to create opportunities for professional collaboration, practical learning and inspiring dialogue.
Organised as a free professional development conference, DTC has rapidly established itself as one of the UAE’s most inclusive and dynamic educational gatherings. This year’s theme, ‘Teaching for Tomorrow – Innovation, Inclusion and Impact’, reflects a strong commitment to equipping educators with forward-thinking strategies that meet the evolving needs of today’s learners.
DTC aims to create a community of educators united by purpose. With its open-access model, bilingual sessions and diverse speaker lineup, the conference reflects the unique spirit of collaboration and innovation that defines education in the UAE.
“By placing students on the main stage, DTC 2025 underscores a core belief that the future of education must be shaped with students, not just for them,” the event organisers said in a statement.
The Dubai Teaching Conference 2025 will take place at the Safa British School Dubai from 8am to 2:30pm.
