The new office in UAE will provide local support to learners and institutions
Dubai, Apr 15, 2024: ETS’s new office in Dubai is expected to boost the number of Graduate Record Examination (GRE) applications from the UAE and the GCC region. ETS, a leading assessment and measurement organisation, is the creator of the GRE General Test. With office in Dubai, the aim is to provide in-country support to learners, institutions, organisations and the government.
Positioned as a crucial assessment for students aspiring to attend graduate, business, or law schools globally, the GRE General Test is part of the admissions process for many graduate schools across the world.
GRE is widely accepted by engineering, business, law and various other STEM programmes globally. Designed to reflect the type of thinking required in today’s demanding graduate school programmes, the test is divided into three sections: Analytical Writing, Quantitative Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning, evaluating critical thinking and analytical writing abilities.
One of the standout features of the GRE is its flexibility in test administration. With more than 1,000 test centres spanning 160 plus countries, aspirants have the liberty to choose a venue that suits their convenience. Furthermore, the GRE offers multiple preparation resources, many of which are free of charge such as timed practice tests.
