This new co-ed British school will open in partnership with Meraki Education
Dubai, Nov 10, 2025: St Paul’s Girls’ School (SPGS), named one of the top independent schools in the UK, will open its first international campus in Dubai in partnership with Meraki Education, the Dubai-based group behind Hartland International School and North London Collegiate School, Dubai.
SPGS International School Dubai will open its doors to both boys and girls, from Early Years through to Sixth Form, delivering British curriculum. The new purpose-built campus will be supported by facilities for science, the arts, sport, design, sustainability and well-being.
However, it has not yet been announced when the school will open, or where the campus will be located.
Bernard J. West, Managing Director of Meraki Education, says, “A school of this calibre does not simply serve a community; it defines it. Its presence enhances every aspect of its surroundings, intellectually, socially and culturally. Together, we are creating a destination for learning and a landmark for Dubai.”
“This new campus will help shape the future of Dubai by nurturing a generation of scholars, innovators, and leaders who reflect the city’s ambition and spirit. We chose to work with Meraki because their team possesses both a comprehensive understanding of education and an exceptional appreciation of the St Paul’s ethos,” adds Sara Brazendale, Managing Director of SPGS International.
SPGS was founded more than five centuries ago and was among the first schools to place women’s education on an equal footing with men’s education. Meraki Education operates several international schools in the region.
