Prominent speakers, educationists and wellbeing specialists to address the participants at the three-day event to be held from November 12 to 14 at the Dubai World Trade Centre

Dubai, Oct 3, 2024:  GESS Dubai has announced the list of speakers, sessions, and workshops for its 2024 edition to be held in Dubai next month. 

Edtech founders, innovators, prominent educationists and wellbeing specialists will address the participants at the three-day event to be held from November 12 to 14 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. 

The free-to-attend, CPD-accredited conference offers educators and professionals an opportunity to explore the future of education and engage with leaders across various fields of expertise.  

Among the major topics covered include AI-driven classroom solutions to innovative wellbeing practices. 

Among the speakers are Gavin McCormack, co-founder of Up-School.co who will speak on the topic Educating with Intention: A Global Perspective; Darren Coxon, founder of coxon.ai, will deliver a keynote titled The Future of AI in Education: What’s Next?, and participate in the AI and the Classroom: Friend or Foe? panel discussion to explore the implications of AI on the educational workforce; Matt Green, Director of Education at Arcadia Education who will address the audience on the transformative role of physical and digital learning spaces and student-centred designs that promote flexible, dynamic learning experiences.  

The Conference Zone will feature GESS Talks Live where the attendees can interact with industry thought leaders in live sessions. Among the topic covered are: Finding Balance: Wellbeing Policies, Burnout Signals, and Personal Strategies for Educators; How to Develop Sustainable Schools Practically and Bridging Tomorrow: Navigating the Transition from K-12 to Tertiary Education and Beyond  

An exclusive Leaders in Education Conference explores the complex challenges faced by school leaders.  

With a growing emphasis on sustainability in education a specially designed Sustainability and Wellbeing Hub will focus on incorporating green practices into school curriculums and addressing the critical issue of educator burnout.   

For the first time at GESS, a dedicated area will be allotted to showcase gaming in education, designed to inspire educators to explore, learn and discover how gaming can enhance student engagement, create opportunities and foster growth. 

This new zone will feature exciting explorations into gamification, esports, and game-based learning.
