The event served as a platform for students to comprehend the pressing environmental concerns 

Dubai, Oct 20, 2023: UAE-based Innoventures Education recently organised a student only edition of COP28. Students from across all the different branches had to discuss, debate and present feasible solutions to tackle environmental issues and climate change concerns. 

Three key themes were presented to the participating students: the first being a model United Nations styled debate sessions on topics similar to those scheduled to be discussed at the COP28 conference to be held in November.  

As part of the Sustainable City Planning, students also created 3D models of sustainable cities, based on specific contexts of their assigned countries and also conducted cost-benefit analyses of these initiatives. 

Case studies of challenging real-world problems were presented. The event was held at Dubai International Academy – Emirates Hills.
