UAE prioritises teachers over technology

Opening the 15th edition of GESS Dubai, the UAE Minister of Education  called teachers the cornerstone of the education process

Dubai, Nov 15, 2022: The UAE will prioritise teachers over technology to help unlock the potential of learners for decades to come, said the UAE Minister of Education Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, addressing teachers and education experts at the opening of the 15th edition of GESS Dubai. 

Calling teachers the cornerstone of any education process, Al Falasi said that development without good assessment and empowerment of teachers to master the use of education instruments is not possible. 

He called teachers the basis of a good education. 

“Education has always been a priority in the UAE because development cannot happen without a good education,” he added.

GESS Dubai, Middle East’s leading education conference and exhibition, kickstarted it’s 15th edition today. 

The programme is taking place at Sheikh Saeed Halls, Dubai World Trade Centre until November 17.
